You need to start building something that makes sense for you when it comes to marketing. Big companies have marketing departments that most small to medium companies cannot afford, so you need to start working with the tools that you currently have on your hand and scale up over time, this is what Data-Driven design is all about.
You need to start adding value to the product you are offering. Your product needs attention and it will not grow by itself. If you keep working around it and making improvements, it will start growing.
